History

Logica Sas was founded by Gianfranco Silipigni in 1989 in order to operate in industrial applications of microprocessors. These were the times when the technology of microprocessor systems was sufficiently reliable that they can use in industrial environment and thereby supplant wired relay logic that drive the machinery of time here.

Logica begins immediately to work with the Mannesmann DEMAG group creating the first automation of transport systems and automated warehouse. From the first applications was created a partnership that lasted 20 years.

Was founded in 1989 Logica Consulting & Solutions (LCS) that acquires from the branch business logica for the automation of warehouse and material handling machines.

LCS continues his cooperation with the DEMAG group governed by a contract of mutual exclusivity until 2005 developing several plants in the area of logistics and airports.

Starting from 2007 it is proposed on the market as a system integrator offering solutions for material handling and manufacturing turnkey.

LCS is certified ISO 9001 since 2004.
